Helping Hands
This ministry brings comfort to those suffering a loss at a time when it is needed the most and relieves the grieving family from having to worry about putting together a reception on their own. The members of Helping Hands come together to provide food and beverages for funeral receptions held at OLG by using a revolving phone tree to call volunteers and ask for a dish such as pasta, salad, desert etc. There are also volunteer opportunities to serve on the buffet line or at the tables.Lou Richards is the coordinator and would be happy to let you know how you're needed.
